Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis
Robert Brunson joined HighFive as the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis in September 2024 and brings over 20 years of operating finance experience. Robert has defined his career by implementing consistent processes and establishing metrics to plan and measure organizational performance, focusing on earnings growth. Robert is passionate about building effective customer-facing teams that advise and directly support business leaders with data visibility and actionable information to make better decisions. In his VP of FP&A role, Robert and his team lead the interim financial planning process, evaluate strategic investment opportunities, and measure business performance to ensure HighFive’s long-term growth and market value.
Before joining HighFive, Robert enjoyed a 16-year finance career with two large publicly traded companies: Vulcan Materials Company and Hibbett Sports. At Vulcan Materials Company, he worked closely with ground-game operators and executive leaders in two of the company's largest operating divisions. Most recently, Robert led the Operations Analysis and FP&A teams for Hibbett Sports, where he redefined processes and reporting and decentralized the Finance organization to align with departmental leadership during a major growth cycle for the company.
Robert holds a B.S. in Accounting from Birmingham Southern College. Robert is married and has two young sons who energize his life. He enjoys spending time outside either with his family, riding one of his bikes, or working in the yard.
